Lancaster Community Criminal Record Info Session – FREE

April 22 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join Record Eraser, Representatives Ismail Smith-Wade-El, Representative Nikki Rivera, and The Lancaster Public Library for a free Criminal Record Info Session designed to help you better understand your Pennsylvania criminal record and know what steps you can take to move forward.

If you’ve ever felt confused, overwhelmed, or unsure about what’s actually on your record (or what it even means), you are not alone. This session is built to give you real, practical education and clear information so you can feel confident about your options.

Attorney Mark F. Walmer will walk you through:

  • Where and how to look up your Pennsylvania criminal record
  • How to decipher what you’re seeing — including the different documents, charges, grading (M1, F3, etc.), and court terminology
  • What may qualify for a pardon, expungement, or Clean Slate… and the differences between these three options!
  • How to access and complete a pardon application, what information is required, and realistic timelines — including current wait times.
  • Your rights when applying for jobs with a record, such as protections under Pennsylvania’s Criminal History Record Information Act (CHRIA)

With over 40 years of experience as a public defender, prosecutor, and defense attorney, Mark breaks down complicated legal jargon into real-life, understandable guidance. Our goal during this session is to help you know exactly what’s on your record, what can be cleared and when, and how to advocate for yourself moving forward.

Whether your charge is recent or decades old, this information could change how you approach employment, housing, education, and more.

We hope you’ll join us and bring your questions so you can leave with clarity!

Please note: All registrants will receive a printed copy of their Pennsylvania criminal record at the event so they can follow along during the presentation.
